Risk Assessments Made Simple

The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 require every employer to carry out a "suitable and sufficient" assessment of the risks to health and safety arising from their work (Regulation 3) and to record the significant findings where five or more people are employed. It's the practical expression of the general duty under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 to protect employees and anyone else affected by the work.

A risk assessment identifies the hazards, judges who might be harmed and how, and sets out the controls needed to reduce the risk.

TalkHSE gives teams across every industry one place to produce and manage risk assessments — not just the paperwork:

  • Hazards identified
  • Who might be harmed and how
  • Risk rating (likelihood and severity)
  • Existing and additional control measures
  • Review dates and significant findings

Enter the task details and TalkHSE produces a structured, UK-compliant risk assessment — hazards, risks and controls set out clearly, ready to download or share by link.

Assess risk in the office and on site.
